Now Hiring : Podiatrist – DPM | Newport News, VA

No Nights. No Weekends. No Call. No Surgery.

Territory : Newport News, VA | Part-Time (2–3 Days / Week)

Position Highlights

  • Title : Podiatrist – DPM
  • License Required : Active Virginia DPM license
  • Schedule : Monday–Friday (choose 2–3 days / week)
  • Hours : Typically done with patients by 2 PM
  • Call / Surgery : None – truly outpatient & mobile care
  • Locations : Long-Term Care / Nursing Facilities (80–150 beds)
  • Travel : Light – all expenses covered (mileage, supplies, etc.)

Earning Potential & Perks

  • Malpractice Insurance Provided
  • Flexible Part-Time Schedule : Work just 2–3 days / week
  • Most providers work 5–6 hours per day
  • Supportive administrative team and structured onboarding

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Provide podiatric care in local LTC and skilled nursing facilities
  • Conduct foot and ankle exams, diagnose and treat conditions
  • Perform routine foot care, wound care, and minor procedures
  • Use EHR to document visits accurately
  • Educate patients and staff on foot health and preventative care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support outcomes

    • Qualifications

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Active Virginia License (Required)
  • Licensed by the National Board of Examiners in Podiatry
  • Open to New Grads Finishing Residency
