Public Works Maintenance - Blue Earth

The City of Blue Earth is now accepting applications for an entry level, full-time public works maintenance employee. Duties include, but are not limited to maintenance of parks, city facilities, repair streets, storm water and wastewater collection systems maintenance, equipment operation / repair and snow removal. This position occasionally requires staff to respond to emergency calls. Required qualification includes a Minnesota Class B CDL (ability to acquire within 6 months), preference given to road grader operation, heavy equipment operation, ag equipment operation, welding / fabrication, building maintenance and machinery repair experience but not necessary. This is an AFSCME No 1204 union position. Salary range is $23.00 - $29.90 / hour plus benefits. Applications are accepted until the position is filled.
