Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring pediatric critical care and congenital heart disease experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a pediatric cardiac ICU within an acute care hospital
  • Care for pre- and post-operative patients with congenital heart disease
  • Float required to MSICU, MICU, NICU, and ACCU units
  • Patient population includes high acuity pediatric cardiac cases
  • Uses Epic charting system
  • 50 / 50 day / night rotation with shifts available as 7a-7p or permanent nights
  • Required to work 3 of 6 weekends
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Must be able to provide care for pre- and post-operative pediatric cardiac patients
  • Work in a Magnet designated, Level I Trauma, NICU Level III / IV teaching hospital
  • Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius at a lower rate
  • Scrubs must be any solid color; OR scrubs provided
  • Parking is free for night shift, with discounted rates and shuttle service for other shifts

  • Active MA RN license required for consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care experience required
  • Current PALS and BLS certifications required
  • Experience caring for patients with congenital heart disease is required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
