Overview

A leader in the aerospace manufacturing industry is currently looking for a Bench Mechanic to join their team! If you have previous machine shop, deburring experience and want to work with a company that is innovative and growing, this is the time to apply!

Position : Deburrer

Shift : 1 : 30 pm to 10 : 00 pm, plus daily overtime, Monday-Friday

Pay : $18.00-$20.00 p / h

Position Overview

The Deburrer (machine shop) will work with plans, lays out, blueprints to fabricate, assemble, install, and repairs sheet metal parts and / or equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications
  • Performs all deburring operations Strip remaining maskant and silstic from finished chem.
  • Mill parts Removes burrs and sharp edges by use of various hand tools and materials such as files and edge breakers.
  • Smooths edges and removes build ups with air or electric equipment using abrasive disk and sleeves.
  • Operates burring equipment using countersink, grinding wheels, burring rolls, bench grinders, drill presses
  • Use ultrasonic gauges and micrometers calipers, scales to work to close tolerances + / - .00

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Must be able to read, interpret instructions, such as blue prints and shop drawings
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Pass pre-employment background and drug test
