Title : Contract C++ Engineer (IT Risk)

Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

1-year Contract with the possibility to extend / convert full-time

Our client is looking for a C++ Engineer to join their IT Risk team. This position helps manage and share important risk data across the organization. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, IT Engineers, and other teams to ensure the smooth flow of risk-related information.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions for data integration from various sources (databases, APIs, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, IT Engineers, etc.)
  • Create and manage ETL processes / data pipelines for analysis
  • Design scalable software systems that are efficient and reliable
  • Help non-technical teams use data tools and resources
  • Identify areas for process improvement

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of C++ and SQL
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI / CD practices
  • Strong focus on improving processes and client satisfaction
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • Ability to work with global teams across different time zones
  • Experience with containerized microservices (preferred)
  • Python skills (preferred)
  • Interest in financial services and risk management (preferred)
