Job Title : Resource Development Volunteer (Grant Writing & Fundraising)

Do you want to learn how to build meaningful relationships with corporate funders and donors? Join our Resource Development Committee and enhance your skills in nonprofit development, fundraising, and donor engagement.

As a volunteer on the Resource Development Committee, you’ll support our mission to rebuild communities from within by raising funds from foundations, corporations, and individual donors. This opportunity offers experience in event planning , prospect research , and solicitation strategy -skills crucial for a successful career in nonprofit fundraising.

Position Overview :

• 12-week remote training program (3-6 hours per week) followed by a 9-month hands-on apprenticeship
• Mentorship from our Board of Directors and founder
• Responsibilities include :

Conducting prospect research for funding opportunities

Qualifications :

Note : This is a volunteer position. Three to six student volunteers will be selected each year to join the program.
