Lab Analyst I

Pay : 18-20 / hr

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Contract Lab Analyst for our pharmaceutical partner in Kansas City, MO . The ideal candidate will perform routine analytical testing to support process control, quality control, process development, product development, and waste management within the Analytical Services Laboratory. This position is part of a 24 / 7 production site and requires working 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with shift rotations every 3-4 months

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine analytical testing in accordance with protocols, SOPs, and work instructions.

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including performing basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting common issues.

Accurately record, calculate, and report analytical results; review data and generate LIMS reports.

Prepare solutions, clean glassware, and manage solid / liquid waste disposal.

Request additional tasks to maximize productivity and assist with lab operations.

Search databases for test methods, specifications, and standards as needed for analyses.

Communicate testing results to internal customers and notify leads of supply shortages or critical consumable levels.

Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement projects.

Train others on waste management practices.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, good housekeeping practices, and RCRA hazardous waste regulations.

Participate in lab / site safety programs and cross-site initiatives.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of laboratory experience .

Strong oral and written communication skills.

High attention to detail with ability to analyze outcomes against standards.

Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and optimize lab efficiency.

Capable of diagnosing routine instrument issues with minimal assistance and supporting others.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of laboratory experience .

Familiarity with HPLC and GC operations.

Pay Details : $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
