United Pacific Surgery Center has a part time opening for an Endoscopy Tech

United Pacific Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

What You Will Do (Job Summary)

The Endoscopy Technician assists with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and / or physicians in endoscopy. This technician has the responsibility to assist with the assessment of patient needs and follows through with the designated plan of action. Additionally, the Endoscopy Tech is responsible for the care, handling, and processing of endoscopy procedural equipment and turnover of the procedure room(s). This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development within their scope and appropriately interpret and communicate information relative to the patient's age-specific needs. This individual effectively communicates data reflective of the patient's status, delegated tasks and / or functions.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Hourly Range : $24.00 - $28.00 / hour based on experience

Required Skills Education and / or Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Endoscopy assisting experience required.

Clinical experience in Operating Room environment desired.

Demonstrable proficiency in cleaning and reprocessing of flexible endoscopes

Current certification in CPR
