Journeyperson / Senior Data Center Cabling Technician

ROLE :

Journeyperson / Senior Technicians will lead the installation, termination, and certification of low-voltage cabling systems in both new construction and active mission-critical facilities.

This will require reading, comprehending, and adhering to project design drawings / plans, specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and installation standards while leading or performing the installation and / or decommissioning critical cabling and network infrastructure in a Data Center environment. Technicians must deliver project installations according to the customer's expectations and exhibit the ability to provide outstanding customer service.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO :

• Lead or support installation, labeling, routing, termination, and testing of fiber cabling systems
• Interpret drawings, floor plans, and rack elevations
• Verify design accuracy and field conditions
• Ensure all work meets BICSI, TIA / EIA, and manufacturer standards
• Communicate effectively with PMs, Forepersons, and Customers
• Train and mentor Installers and Junior Technicians
• Obtain OSHA 10 and First Aid / CPR Certifications within your first 90 days on the job
