Supervision Officer
The Supervision Officer reports directly to the Shift Leader then to the Shift Supervisor, Supervisor, Facility Administrator, and ultimately to the Chief Juvenile Probation Officer. The detention officer will directly supervise detention residents in their day to day programming with an emphasis on safety, security, and behavior control.

The position will require the ability to become trained in restraint techniques which involve flexibility (ex : ability to bend at the knees and waist, ability to bend elbows and other joints), ability to place full body weight and weight of another on knees (into a kneeling position), ability to take a deep step back, ability to twist body at torso, ability to put body weight on one elbow and both knees at the same time, ability to move suddenly and quickly and the ability to assist others in a restraint.

Salary range is $18.39 - $21.95 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
