Learning And Development Facilitator
The Learning and Development Facilitator will design, write, develop, manage, and facilitate complex learning and development projects for multiple audiences. Responsibilities involve working with employees and teams to help them reach their full potential, increase customer service, and maintain compliance. This position requires the application of effective written and oral communication skills in order to effectively create and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and training materials.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities include :
Minimum Education and Training includes a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of corporate training delivery and facilitation or postsecondary teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Minimum Qualifications and Standards Required include thorough knowledge of the methods, procedures and policies of the Human Resources and Risk Management Department, knowledge of the laws, ordinances, standards and regulations pertaining to the specific duties and responsibilities of the position, and knowledge in the areas of training & development and is able to plan and conduct effective training and development programs for City personnel.
Physical Requirements include the ability to operate a variety of machines and equipment including computers, basic office equipment, telephone, etc. and the ability to lift and / or carry weights of up to fifteen pounds.
Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of accuracy, exercising immediate remedial action to correct any quality deficiencies, and maintaining high quality communication and interaction with internal and external entities. Assumes responsibility for completing assigned work, completes assigned work within deadlines, maintains accountability for assigned responsibilities, exercises analytical judgment in areas of responsibility, identifies issues or situations as they occur and specifies decision objectives, identifies or assists in identifying alternative solutions to issues or situations, and implements decisions in accordance with prescribed and effective policies and procedures.
Working Conditions include working primarily in an office environment.
