We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Closer to join our clients team in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in mortgage closing, loan origination, and post-closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble and review comprehensive loan closing packages for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved in the loan process.
• Verify employment details, obtain insurance documentation, and ensure all required documents and inspections are completed prior to closing.
• Coordinate and oversee mortgage loan proceedings to guarantee a smooth and seamless closing experience.
• Facilitate and manage loan settlements, ensuring the timely disbursement of funds.
• Perform post-closing audits to verify compliance, accuracy, and completeness of signed documents and recorded information.
• Ensure full adherence to compliance policies and guidelines, including Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
• Execute additional lending or administrative tasks as directed.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage closing, loan origination, or related functions.
• Proficiency in working with loan processing systems.
• Strong knowledge of escrow account setup and post-closing procedures.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements and legal regulations in the financial services sector.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct detailed audits and verification processes.
• Experience in coordinating complex mortgage transactions and funding settlements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
