What we're looking for
The primary objective of the Instrument / Electrical (I&E) Project Engineer is to drive project implementation for our manufacturing site. In this role, you will develop and steward our project systems / processes, which will help improve the site's overall instrumentation and electrical assets.
Responsibilities
- Develop scope of work details for instrument and electrical discipline.
- Serve as Project Team Leader as required; accountable for project success (cost, timing, quality).
- Provide Instrument / Electrical expertise to the plant.
- Provide start-up assistance for new installations.
- Participate in Design Hazard Reviews.
- Perform equipment design calculations and provide equipment specifications for purchasing new equipment.
- Determine drafting resource requirements and request resources when required.
- Conduct project meetings when required.
- Coordinate and inspect field activities; accountable for project implementation, problem solving, and coordination.
- Ensure activities comply with the integrated management system (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality, and responsible care).
- Work extra hours as needed to meet production objectives.
- Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Assist other employees in achieving company goals; follow supervisor instructions.
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives and complete company-required training programs.
Qualifications
BS Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in I&E Project Engineering required.Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.Proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office.What we offer
