About The Position

Night (3x12 Hours) 19 : 00 7 : 00

Required :

• VA or compact license
• ACLS
• NIH
• 2 yrs experience

The SICU's population is more specialized, with trauma patients, CV surgery patients (such as TAVRs and CABGs directly from the OR), neurosurgery patients, and other complicated surgical patients.

Special Requirements / Skills :

Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, blood product administration; Diagnoses include : acute ventilator need, COVID+ with high O2 demand, DKA, severe sepsis, unstable GI bleed, trauma cases, open heart recovery, TAVR recovery, s / p code blue, multi system organ failure, need for CRRT.

Job Details : Start date : ASAP

Ratios : 1 : 2-3. If floating to step down it can be 1 : 3-4. (Ratios will be appropriate to skill level and acuity during required float)

First-timers accepted : Yes

Weekend REQ : Every other

Is on-call REQ? No
