Position Type : Locum Physician Radiology (Body Imaging)

Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified Radiologist with fellowship training in Body Imaging to provide locum coverage at a Level I Trauma Center . Providers will read for multiple sites but may be based on-site or work remotely if qualified.

Practice Highlights

  • Hospital-based role with diverse case mix (CT, Ultrasound, Body MRI)
  • Flexible call schedule negotiable
  • Average daily volumes : CTs, 100 X-rays, or 60 Ultrasounds (varies by rotation)
  • Robust team of 40+ Radiologists, including 9 CT and 4 Body MR specialists
  • EMR / Tech : Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACs, Softek Illuminate
  • Travel & lodging covered for non-local providers (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage reimbursement)
  • Parking reimbursement for local providers

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified in Radiology Required
  • Fellowship-trained in Body Imaging Required
  • Active IL State License Required
  • BLS certification Required
  • CDS Certification & DEA Registration Required
  • Comfortable reading CT, Ultrasound, and Body MRI cases
  • Remote candidates accepted, on-site preferred

    • Schedule & Coverage

  • Coverage begins as soon as credentialed (approx. 3 months)
  • Flexible call ratio negotiable
  • Trauma coverage across multiple facilities : Level I and II
  • Remote teleradiology option available
