This position is based in Milwaukee, WI. Hybrid environment 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

How Will You Make An Impact?
As a Senior Reinsurance Analyst, you will be a part of the Reinsurance team that is responsible for monitoring, managing, and reporting on our reinsurance agreements, as well as providing analytical information to Finance leaders to aid in their decision-making processes. You will also assist in the compilation of our regulatory reporting.
This is accomplished by :
Being responsible for processes related to the cession and assumption of premium and / or losses in compliance with MGIC's reinsurance programsGenerating monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for analysis of reinsurance premiums, losses, and exposure, etc.Being responsible for preparing analyses, detailed schedules, reports, and other related documentation, including reports to reinsurers, management companies, government regulators, and senior managementObtaining a strong understanding of the reinsurance system. Providing assistance as needed on any enhancements or upgrades to the reinsurance systemObtain an understanding of MGIC's reinsurance function and its relation to other departments as well as understanding our reinsurance programsServing as a resource and primary support for requests and questions related to our reinsurance programs as well as working with internal and external auditors by preparing replies to inquiriesEnsuring accurate reinsurance and accounting control procedures are maintainedDo You Have What It Takes?
CPA license a plusExperience : More than 5 years of recent experience performing complex work in accounting, finance, analytics, or reinsurance business unitsKnowledge of SAS report writingKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Statutory accounting principles a plusKnowledge of state insurance regulations and SEC regulations a plusYou Might Be A Good Fit If You :

This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions.
