THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a Senior Scientist to help lead and grow our research engine.
You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the VP of R&D and Director of Research to drive key programs forward and manage external collaborations.
This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role ideal for someone who’s ready to lead and execute in equal measure.
This is a full-time, on-site role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Key Responsibilities) Lead day-to-day scientific execution across internal teams and CRO / academic partners Own program timelines and technical plans; troubleshoot and drive decisions to keep progress on track Design, run, and refine experiments, hands-on and alongside junior team members Coordinate with collaborators, ensure data integrity, and maintain clean documentation across projects Contribute to company strategy through project planning, milestone tracking, and resource scoping Present internally and externally, including pitch decks, grant applications, and scientific meetings Stay sharp on emerging EV, gene therapy, and CAR-T technologies to shape R&D direction Pitch in on lab ops, team culture, and whatever else it takes to get the job done WHAT YOU BRING (Required Qualifications) Ph.D. + 5 years’ postdoc or industry experience in gene therapy / genetic medicines, CAR-T, or related areas Deep expertise in in vivo gene delivery platforms (viral vectors, LNPs, EVs) Strong bench skills in molecular / cell biology, including flow cytometry, qPCR, Western, microscopy, NGS Experience developing ex vivo and in vivo CAR-T or other T-cell based therapies Solid working knowledge of genome editing tools (CRISPR, Cre-lox, etc.) Experience managing external partners (CROs, academic labs) Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high ownership environments Excellent communicator, highly organized, strong attention to detail Bonus :
