Department : CVOR RN

Certifications : BLS, minimum 3 years CVOR experience

Shifts : Primarily 8-hour shifts Mon–Fri 0645–1515; call 1–2 weekdays (1515–0645) & every 2–3 weekends (Fri 1515–Mon 0645); rotating holidays

Suites & Volume : 2 CVOR suites; 1–3 cases / day (thoracic & vascular cases included)

Common Cases : Open hearts (CABG, valves, aneurysms), thoracotomies, VATS, convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5

Experience / Must-Have : Willing to cross-train into general OR if CV volume is low; float to floor for helping hands or 1 : 1 sitter as needed

Orientation : 3–4 days hospital orientation + EPIC / module training; 4–5 days unit-based; 2 buddy-call shifts

EMR : EPIC

Call / Response : 15 min response, 8-hour reprieve post-call, sleep room available

Staffing : Charge nurse on all shifts; OR techs present

Radius Rule : 50 miles; candidates cannot have worked for CommonSpirit facilities in past 12 months

Notes : Must be flexible, team-oriented, and willing to cover additional shifts as needed
