A respected legal membership organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professional to join their team as a Membership Education & Events Coordinator.
This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in membership support, event coordination, and continuing education program management. The Coordinator will play a key role in supporting legal professionals through engaging programs and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new member applications, renewals, and maintain accurate membership records.
- Conduct outreach to support renewals and re-engage lapsed members.
- Generate membership reports and assist with member communications.
- Support planning and execution of virtual educational programs and networking events.
- Coordinate with leadership and speakers to gather materials, conduct tech walk-throughs, and manage logistics.
- Draft promotional content including e-blasts and program announcements.
- Track attendance, issue certificates, and upload MCLE records to the State Bar of California (training provided).
- Provide exceptional customer service to members, participants, and speakers.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to Zoom, ProLearn, and other platforms (training provided).
- Assist with administrative tasks to support overall program operations.
Qualifications
Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.Previous experience in customer service or administrative support roles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to learn new technologies.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Detail-oriented approach and confidence in interacting with diverse individuals, including members and stakeholders.Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms, such as Zoom or GoToMeeting, is preferred but not required.Experience coordinating events or working with volunteers and committees is an advantage.The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in mission-driven environments, brings a proactive and detail-oriented approach to their work, and is energized by supporting professional communities through impactful programs and events.
