LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Neonatal MD in Elmira, New York, 14905!

About The Position

  • Position Description
  • Full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist
  • Provide care in a 20-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 13–15 and nearly 300 NICU admissions annually
  • Participate in care for transported patients (15–20% of admissions) from surrounding hospitals
  • Collaborate with NNPs providing 24-hour in-house coverage , attending high-risk deliveries, and managing critically ill newborns
  • Work in the only regional perinatal center in the market with comprehensive women’s health and MFM services
  • Utilize advanced neonatal services including conventional ventilation and HFOV
  • Excellent nursing and pediatric subspecialty support available
  • Flexible block scheduling ; physicians may live outside the immediate area
  • Accepting new fellowship graduates (completion required prior to start)
  • Locums and visa candidates not considered

Job Requirements

  • Requirements
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics – REQUIRED
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine – REQUIRED
  • New York medical license (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED
  • DEA registration prior to start – REQUIRED
  • Clean malpractice and license history – HIGHLY PREFERRED
