We are a dynamic real estate firm managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including office buildings, medical offices, and retail spaces. We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Property Manager to join our team and help drive operational excellence and tenant satisfaction.
Position Overview
As our Commercial Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple commercial assets. You will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, supervise maintenance and vendor activities, conduct inspections, prepare and negotiate lease documents, and produce management reporting. Your work will ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage tenant relations : respond to inquiries, address concerns, enforce lease terms, and foster positive relationships
Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer commercial lease agreements
Oversee vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to ensure timely, high-quality service
Conduct regular property inspections and schedule preventive maintenance
Track and report property performance, including budgets, expense analysis, and variance reporting
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal guidelines
Collaborate with legal, accounting, and leasing teams to support lease renewals, CAM reconciliations, and escalation matters
Coordinate capital improvements, tenant build-outs, and space planning
Drive cost control and operational efficiencies
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial property management (office, retail, medical preferred)
Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi)
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Experience preparing leases, managing vendor contracts, and generating management reports
Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and vendor coordination
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (but not required)
Real estate license or relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, RPA)
Experience with CAM reconciliations, capital budgeting, or project management
Familiarity with medical office infrastructure or retail operations
