Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Freelance Journalist. The Freelance Journalist will be responsible for writing news articles, generating press releases, conducting research, and broadcasting. The role involves covering a variety of topics relevant to the Greater Boston area, including local politics, business, sports, and events. Day-to-day tasks will include investigating stories, interviewing sources, and writing articles for our newsletter.

Most importantly, we\'re a small team and want someone to fit our ethos of improving Boston for all.

Qualifications Experience in Writing, News Writing, and generating Press Releases

Research skills and the ability to gather and analyze information

Broadcasting skills for reporting news stories

Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and remotely

Familiarity with the Greater Boston area and its communities is a plus

Bachelor\'s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
