Responsibilities Hospital setting in a radiology department Shift schedule is 11 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and call requirements Patients may include a broad hospital-based adult and possibly pediatric population Use of a variety of imaging equipment and hardware / software in radiography Charting is performed using Epic EMR Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital if needed Perform imaging and treatment processes in compliance with all relevant guidelines Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Responsibilities may include adjusting procedures and collaborating with the care team as necessary Assignment is limited to one calendar year from initial start date, with a required 30-60 day break before returning No local candidates accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility Requirements Graduate of an accredited radiography school Active NJ State RT license and ARRT certification required if applicable Current BLS certification required 1 to 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician Demonstrated proficiency in imaging equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and care Ability to monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures Strong communication, initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627751.
