What You'll Do

  • Maintain & manage SAP price files
  • Work with buyers to manage PAR screens
  • Help set and update Retail pricing
  • Prep for monthly sales requests by pulling data for forecast : current inventory, daily purchases, etc. (Red Metals, Aluminum & Ferrous)
  • Follow up with 104 to ensure the plant receives the requested sales
  • Manage Evolve for the commercial team
  • Manage STO process (shipping & receiving yards) to ensure accuracy of pricing and weights
  • Build monthly customer reports
  • Assist Marketing Manager and Buyers as needed
  • Work with Commercial Team to learn commercial best practices and commercial discipline
  • Assist commercial team with account reviews for smaller accounts or high cost / low weight accounts
  • Review transportation reports to identify accounts that need buyer attention
  • Assist with month end business review
  • Retro Pricing
  • Release tickets to the back office
  • Pull purchase volumes for TAG Commercial Growth accounts that require MIGO transfers to validate upgrades
  • What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years business or operations experience (can include intern experience)
  • Entry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and / or customer service is a plus
  • Leadership skills in professional, educational, and / or social experiences
  • Buying / selling skill and product knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to work in all areas of the business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office : Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required
  • Must be able to travel within assigned region and other areas as needed
  • Must have effective listening and verbal skills to identify important information and to engage with internal and external customers
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Your Education

  • Bachelors degree preferred
