Duties

Duties include but are not limited to the following :

• Responsible for facility and equipment; maintenance, general repair, housekeeping of plant and equipment.
• Customer assistance during delivery of commodities is a high priority.
• Responsible for pre-harvest sanitation of equipment and storage.
• Operating tractors, loaders, fork trucks, and other equipment used in the receiving, drying, cleaning, processing, packaging and shipping of grains.
• Responsible for in-bound storage and out-bound quality of grains.
• Responsible for monitoring stored grains including : temperature, pests (rodents and insects), crusting, odors, color, moisture, and aeration for maximum quality.
• Due to the nature of our business this job is not limited to 8 am-5pm Monday through Friday, and must be willing to work after regular work hours, weekends, holidays, etc.

Also willing to work in all elements of weather (hot / cold temperatures, rain, snow, etc.)
