Job Details

Responsibilities -

Review drawings, specifications, and RFPs to determine project scope

Develop detailed cost estimates and create estimate summaries

Monitor bid calendars and complete proposals on schedule

Perform and review material takeoffs for accuracy and completeness

Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors; conduct scope reviews

Prepare proposals, bid forms, and cost breakdowns

Support development of conceptual budgets from preliminary designs

Collaborate with sales teams on procurement strategies

Participate in client and engineer project scope review meetings

Transition awarded projects by handing off estimates to project management teams

Qualifications -

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience

Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software (Quickpen or similar) preferred

Strong analytical and mathematical skills with solid understanding of engineering and construction principles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
