Graduate Development Assistant (Student) (Washington)

This position is available only to enrolled American University students.

In this position, you will support the Kogod School of Business Student Development team with event coordination, student engagement initiatives, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a current graduate student with strong organizational, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and professional skills while making a meaningful impact on the student experience for Kogod students. Additional duties include general event support, which may require flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Essential Functions :

• Assist in planning, execution, and assessment of events, including new student orientation, various cultural and educational programs, and support of clubs, case competition, digital badging, and more.
• Collaborate with other Kogod and AU offices / departments for student engagement programs.
• Conduct informational tabling in the Kogod building to promote events and resources.
