The Inspection Support Specialist is an entry level position who will be responsible for performing and supporting dimensional inspection activities using any necessary inspection equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely dimensional data collection to support quality control processes and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collect and manage inspection data and ensure data is readily available for inspectors, minimizing workflow interruptions.
- Operate Vision Measuring Machines (VMMs) to collect required dimensional data.
- Record and enter top-level dimensional data into designated Excel spreadsheets and customer reports.
- Monitor and verify that HQA (High Quality Analysis) data imports are completed.
- Assist with minor inspection work as needed.
- Use basic hand tools to perform simple dimensional checks and support inspection tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Quality Department and company objectives
