We are seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure that all manufactured products meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS), validating production processes, ensuring documentation accuracy, and leading the quality team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professional integrity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Achieve quality assurance objectives by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality, productivity, and customer service standards.
Conduct audits, identify opportunities for system improvements, and lead change initiatives to enhance product quality and consistency.
Develop and maintain quality assurance plans, including hazard analyses, critical control points, preventive measures, and verification procedures.
Validate quality processes by establishing specifications, documenting evidence, and updating quality procedures as needed.
Lead root cause analyses, implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely responses to customer complaints and nonconformances.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and performance metrics related to product and system compliance.
Supervise, train, and develop members of the Quality Team to promote engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Carry out full supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and managing disciplinary actions in compliance with policies and regulations.
Support and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, CMMI).
Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to drive process improvement, problem-solving, Six Sigma initiatives, and data analysis for better product performance.
Plan and conduct internal and supplier audits; assist with external audits and maintain supplier compliance through education, training, and performance monitoring.
Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in quality management practices through ongoing professional development.
Support plant operations and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience :
Associate’s degree in a technical, engineering, or quality-related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
Quality certifications such as CQMOE, CQE, or CQA are highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build strong cross-functional relationships, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
Proven record of integrity, accountability, and alignment with organizational values and culture.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) preferred.
