Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating comprehensive patient care for individuals on the orthopedic unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, interpreting clinical data, and providing age-specific care according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate total patient care for assigned individuals, ensuring a tailored and compassionate approach.

Assess patient data, interpret clinical information, and deliver care specific to each patient's age and needs.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan.

Support the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.

Contribute to the hospital’s strategic plan by participating in quality improvement and process enhancement activities.

Job Requirements

12 months consecutive experience within ICU and / or ER or CCL and / or Surgical Services is required.

24 months consecutive experience within ICU and / or ER or CCL and / or Surgical Services is preferred.

Current California RN License

AHA-BLS (Basic Life Support)

AHA-ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Critical Care Course Completion within one-year

Basic EKG within 90-days of employment

HBOC computer training within 6 months of employment in the position

$52.23 - $68.16 / hour
