Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer III , you will lead the design and engineering of electrical systems including power, lighting, grounding / bonding, special systems (e.g., telephone / data, security, fire alarm), raceways, cable trays, and other building support systems. You’ll manage multiple complex tasks, set priorities, and guide junior team members while overseeing the electrical scope and budget for small to medium-sized projects of intermediate complexity.
You’ll collaborate with internal and external architects, engineers, clients, construction managers, subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers. Deliverables include calculations (power load, illumination, short circuit, voltage drop), design documentation (one-line diagrams, plans, schedules, specifications), and coordination efforts. You’ll use tools such as BIM software, CAD platforms, and engineering calculation programs to support all phases of design—from studies and schematic design to construction documentation and administration.
