Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support student development and success. This position offers flexibility with either full-time or part-time hours and is structured as a contract role, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.

  • Douglasville, GA

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students within the school setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
  • Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence to enhance their academic performance and daily activities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and communication with the school team.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plan (IEP) development.

    • Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license.
  • Experience working within school environments preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to tailor interventions to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Comfortable with both independent and team-oriented work.
