Job Title : Senior Cerner API Specialist with Hospital background experience

Location : Remote

Job Type : Contract

Note : Need Senior Cerner Specialist with Hospital background experience and who has Hands on with Cerner API + Cerner CCL + Cerner Discern

Role Summary :

Seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager with a strong hospital-industry background and deep Cerner expertise. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end Cerner projects, coordinate with clinical and technical teams, and ensure successful delivery of solutions using Discern and related tools.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage Cerner implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Oversee development and optimization of Cerner Discern rules, CCL reports, and MPages.
  • Collaborate with clinical, IT, and vendor teams to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Provide guidance and best practices for Cerner workflows and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Proven experience as a Healthcare PM in a hospital environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Cerner Discern, CCL, MPages, and Cerner rules.
  • Proficiency with Discern Launch, Discern Dev, PuTTY, and Linux command operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and change management.

    • Preferred :

  • PMP or similar certification.
  • Experience with multi-hospital or enterprise-wide Cerner deployments.
