Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU Float Pool position requiring Epic experience and both BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital SRO Float Pool setting rotating through various ICU and intermediate care unitsUnits include Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1 Trauma), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit, Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED BoardersNight shifts, 4x12 hours, with the option of 36 or 48 hours per week (19 : 00-07 : 00)Every other weekend required, plus 2 out of 3 winter holidaysRequired to float between ICU, intermediate, and specialty care units per hospital policyEpic EMR experience requiredCare for critically ill patients in various ICU and intermediate care settings as assignedModules are completed during orientation, up to 16 hours non-billableMust comply with all hospital float policiesHoliday coverage required for 2 out of 3 major winter holidaysNo local radius rule appliesUp to 40 hours of RTO allowed for each 13-week contract when submitted at hiringFirst-time travelers consideredCOVID and special pathogens experience may be needed depending on unit assignmentRequirements
