Job Summary :

The Deal Processor / Title Clerk at Duluth Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM will play a crucial role in the operations of our dealership by processing and handling all vehicle title paperwork and ensuring the completion of all vehicle deals in a timely and accurate manner. This is a full-time, hourly administrative position within the auto industry located in Hermantown, Minnesota. This role will report to the Controller and will be responsible for maintaining records and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $19 to $21.50 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, the employee will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.

Responsibilities :

Experience in the following is preferred : however we will train the right candidate

• Review and process all vehicle deals to ensure accuracy and completeness of all paperwork
• Calculate taxes and fees for vehicle purchases and submit to appropriate agencies
• Submit loan and lease agreements for funding and follow up on any missing paperwork
• Verify vehicle titles for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and submit title and lien paperwork to the appropriate state agencies
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal staff to resolve any title and paperwork issues
• Maintain an organized and accurate record-keeping system for all vehicle titles and paperwork
• Manage and track outstanding titles and provide updates to management as needed
• Stay current on state and federal regulations and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
• Assist in other administrative tasks as needed by the dealership
