• Unit : 8N Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (20 beds)\n
• Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) contract\n
• Start Date : November 11, 2025\n
• End Date : February 10, 2026\n
• Contract Length : 13 weeks\n
• Shift : 3x12 hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Weekend Requirement : Yes\n
• Floating : Required to NICU and other pediatric units\n
• Charting System : EPIC\n
• Scrubs : Provided for OR\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay : $2200–$2360 per week\nPICU RN Qualifications\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU nursing experience (including CVICU and post-op cardiac patients)\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon or compact state; pending license accepted with proof of application)\n
• BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred\n
• Proficiency with Epic charting system\n
• Ability to float to NICU and pediatric units as needed\n
• Professional references required\n
• No background or license issues\n
• First-time travel nurses accepted with required experience\nPICU RN Responsibilities\n
• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill neonatal, pediatric, and young adult patients in a pediatric ICU setting\n
• Perform bedside procedures : central / arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubation / extubation, CRRT, ECMO cannulation / decannulation, chest exploration, and other emergent procedures\n
• Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment : Hamilton G5 Ventilators, DirectLink ICP Monitors, Artic Sun Targeted Temperature Management, Baxter Prismaflex Machines\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including intensivists, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, and specialists\n
• Float to NICU and other pediatric units as required\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC\n
