Restoration Technician

A Restoration Technician specializes in providing restoration services to contents, textiles, electronics, or art that have experienced damage from various sources such as water, fire, mold, or other disasters. The technician effectively completes a pack out and / or pack back of a home or business.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include :

• Travel to the loss site to properly inventory and sort textiles, electronics, art, and contents using appropriate technology.
• Follow all procedures and guidelines per training protocols.
• Communicate and follow verbal instructions from the lead CSR.
• Effectively pack out jobs properly while maintaining the integrity of the contents.
• Follow written instructions specific to each job.
• Ensure that the restoration process meets company standards and customer expectations.
• On-call schedule required for after-hours, weekdays and weekends.
• Remain professional around homeowners, adjusters, and contractors.
• Assist warehouse manager in unloading contents.
• Organize all contents based on cleaning method.
• Identify and separate for immediate needs.
• Use appropriate technology.
• Ensure truck is stocked with materials for the day.
• Perform pack out based on normal flow textiles, electronics, art, contents.
• Follow all procedures to properly inventory, eval, tag, and box.
• Take appropriate photos.
• Keep a clean workstation.
• Assist warehouse manager in loading deliveries.
• Transport items to the loss site.
• Place furniture in original rooms.
• Place boxes unopened in original rooms.
• Protect the loss site from damage during delivery.
• Use appropriate technology.

Compensation : $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
