CT / Rad Tech Job Details – Cath Lab Travel Assignment
Assignment Type : Travel Cath Lab Technologist
Location : Washington, DC 20007 (Georgetown, DC healthcare jobs)
Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
Start Date : December 1, 2025
End Date : March 2, 2026
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 4x10-Hour Days (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)
Hours per Week : 40
Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics
Charting System : Cerner
Scrubs Provided
Qualifications for CT / Radiologic Technologist – Cath Lab
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab technologist experience
At least 1 prior travel healthcare assignment required
Active DC Radiologic Technologist license (or proof of application)
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Certification : ARRT (CI or VI) or CCI RCIS (either ARRT or RCIS accepted)
Two (2) supervisor references required
Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Key Responsibilities – Cath Lab Technologist
Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including peripheral vascular interventions
Conduct adult diagnostic catheterizations, hemodynamic monitoring, left and right heart catheterizations
Assist with pacemaker insertions (permanent and temporary), AICD programming / insertion, angioplasty, stent placement, and aortography
Perform dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms / declots), upper and lower extremity angiography, pelvic and pulmonary arteriography
Set up equipment, maintain sterile field, and ensure accurate monitoring throughout procedures
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias; participate in rapid response / code teams as needed
Stock supplies, prep access sites, and circulate / scrub as required
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
