The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through expert beverage service, creativity, and hospitality. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages — from classic cocktails to innovative signature drinks — while maintaining a welcoming and professional bar environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, accuracy, and creativity.
Deliver attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to all guests.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of the beverage program, including cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, and beer selections.
Assist in the development of seasonal cocktails, specials, and beverage pairings.
Ensure proper setup, breakdown, restocking, and cleanliness of the bar area at all times.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies and procedures.
Accurately process orders and payments through the POS system.
Monitor guest consumption and behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
Support the service team by assisting with beverage orders and communication during service.
Participate in ongoing training, tastings, and meetings to maintain high standards of knowledge and service.
Qualifications :
Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant / bar.
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, spirits, wine, and beer.
Exceptional hospitality skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Reach, bend, and stoop as required for bar setup and service.
