Traveling Superintendent

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Superintendent to lead the field operations of a high-profile data center project . This role demands deep expertise in mission-critical infrastructure , exceptional leadership, and a relentless commitment to safety, quality, and schedule. You'll be the boots-on-the-ground authority, orchestrating complex builds with precision and confidence. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for large-scale data center projects
  • Manage field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and daily coordination of trades
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and company standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and drive progress
  • Conduct daily site walks, progress meetings, and quality inspections
  • Maintain accurate documentation including RFIs, daily reports, and field directives
  • Mentor junior superintendents and foster a culture of accountability and excellence

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction experience, with 2+ years in mission-critical / data center builds
  • Proven success managing projects exceeding $100M in value
  • Deep understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, and high-performance scheduling
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
  • OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety credentials preferred
  • Ability to travel or relocate based on project needs
