Role Overview : Director, Sell-Side
Axial is hiring a Director to lead the company's sell-side go-to-market organization, the largest and most senior team of individual producers within our GTM function. This role is critical to driving Axial's revenue and platform utilization by instilling a culture of consistency, accountability, and top performance across the team.
Reporting to the Head of GTM, you will manage a group of account executives / account managers who support Axial's investment banking, M&A advisory, and business broker segments. Your mandate is to ensure the team executes with daily excellence : holding reps accountable to activity and outcomes, coaching individuals to hit and exceed their number, and leading by example through team selling and direct customer engagement.
You will be the operational leader of the sell-side business line, focused on execution, coaching, pipeline management, and driving adoption of Axial's deal marketing and business development solutions. You will own and be compensated on the KPIs that define Axial's growth on the sell-side - revenue, deals brought to market, and executed LOIs - making this role central to our long-term market leadership.
Team Structure :
This role manages a high-impact team of in-office and remote individual contributors : five AE / AMs focused on our investment bank and M&A advisor relationships, and two AE / AMs focused on our business broker relationships. The team is actively growing to support the increased number of our sell-side members. This is a hands-on, high-leverage leadership position for someone aligned with Axial's long-term mission and values.
