Senior Accountant Or Accounting Manager - Fund & Property
A private real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join its growing team. With approximately $1B in AUM across multiple funds, the firm invests in a diverse range of real estate assets and structures, including opportunistic and value-add properties, real estate debt, and operating businesses. This role offers high visibility, direct collaboration with the CFO, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to fund and property-level financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Review monthly operating reports, variance analysis, and property cash flows
Oversee quarterly investor reporting, waterfall calculations, and fund performance metrics
Support valuation processes and financial modeling
Coordinate audits, tax filings, and SEC compliance documentation
Manage capital calls, distributions, and carry calculations
Interface with fund administrators, auditors, and tax teams
Assist with credit facility servicing and LP diligence requests
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
3-6 years of fund accounting experience, ideally in real estate
Strong GAAP and fair value accounting knowledge
Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ability to learn new systems
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing competing priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
