Network Engineer

Location : Overland Park, Kansas

Responsibilities

• Manage F5 Big-IP LTM and GTM devices
• Create iRules, configure virtual IPs, pools and nodes
• Modify and enhance complex URL redirects using iRules and data groups
• Modify firewall policies on Check Point VSX series firewalls
• Manage Cisco routers (ISR and ASR), firewalls (ASA), and switches (Catalyst and Nexus)
• Respond to and execute work requests through ServiceNow
• Respond to and remedy incidents submitted through ServiceNow
• Design network resources around new custom application needs
• Provide expertise and support to customers as well as fellow IT employees in infrastructure as well as application development
• Network Device Management - SNMP, NetFlow, Monitoring Device Uptime and Capacity Management
• On-call duty, 1 week at a time rotating with a group of 7 engineers
