  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,650–$1,770 per week\n

  • Location : Clinton, Maryland 20735 (Washington, D.C. metro area)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract\n
  • Start Date : November 17, 2025\n
  • Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 (ICU standard)\n
  • Weekend Coverage : 6 weekend shifts per contract; every other weekend and holiday rotation\n
  • Float Requirement : May float to Med / Surg, Telemetry, or IMC units\n
  • Charting System : Cerner EMR\n
  • Scrubs : Hunter Green (not provided)\n
  • Parking : Free on-site parking\n

    • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required\n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state\n
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS\n
  • Experience in cardiac ICU, telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation / management, and renal failure care\n
  • Advanced IV therapy skills : IV insulin protocols, arterial line management, blood product administration, central / PICC line care, starting IVs, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, continuous IV sedation, emergency medication administration\n
  • Neurological care : CVA / acute stroke management\n
  • Respiratory / thoracic care : ventilator management, BiPAP / CPAP, chest tube assistance, high-flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, suctioning\n
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
  • Two supervisor references required\n
  • Comfortable caring for COVID-19 patients\n
  • First-time travel nurses welcome!\n

    • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU / CCU\n
  • Monitor and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, sepsis, stroke, cardiac events, and more\n
  • Administer and titrate critical drips and emergency medications\n
  • Perform advanced IV therapy, ventilator management, and assist with specialized procedures such as chest tubes and arterial lines\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response\n
  • Float to Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Intermediate Care units as needed\n
  • Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR\n
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled\n
