Role Overview

Position : Technical Writer – Contract, Remote

Commitment : 10–25 hours / week

Duration : Short to mid-term

Collaborate on content‑focused projects with Fortune 500 companies and unicorn startups. Support AI systems by generating and validating high‑quality technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Review and refine AI‑generated technical content for clarity, accuracy, and structure.

Author new documentation across technical domains, including product specs, API guides, and internal wikis.

Validate content against real‑world standards and enterprise documentation styles.

Provide feedback on AI output to improve relevance and consistency.

Collaborate asynchronously with research and platform teams as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience writing or editing technical documentation.

Proven ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible language.

Familiarity with structured documentation tools like Markdown, Git, Confluence.

Detail‑oriented with strong editorial judgment and domain fluency.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in engineering, product, or technical program management.

Engagement Details

Remote and asynchronous – set your own hours.

$50–100 / hour depending on experience and location.

Independent contractor classification.

Payments processed weekly via Stripe Connect.
