job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMust be able to lift 40+ lbs. repetitively. Must be able to stand the entire shift. Position requires bending, stooping, stretching and reaching. Should be able to work well in a multicultural environment. Experience in a manufacturing facility. Basic knowledge of computer use. Flexible to perform multiple job functions and duties. One to five years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with Welding, Cut & Sew and Upholstery. Training in Quality disciplines including Corrective Actions, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Print Reading preferred. Basic understanding of English language. Bilingual is a plus Safety glasses and hearing protection is required. Safety shoes are required and are to be purchased by the employee. 8 hour shift Evening Shift Monday to Friday
Job Description
Overview :
PFL Services is looking for an experience Quality Auditor. This candidate must have one to 5 years of quality experience within the manufacturing setting, preferably in welding, cutting and sewing, upholstery.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Read blueprints and drawing.
- Handles floor quality issues.
- Monitors internal quality checks and current corrective actions.
- Utilize hand held gages, tape measures and rulers to conduct part and fixture studies.
- Perform measurement system studies for component and assembly gages.
- Other duties as required.
- Assist in resolving quality related issues.
- In-process audits
- Identify and separate nonconforming parts (defective).
- Report issues to maintenance as needed and make supervisor aware.
