As an access control officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols of the site. Your visible presence will help create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, as you will operate vehicles as part of your duties. Pay Rate : $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting to help deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors and personnel with security-related inquiries and procedures according to site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols to support emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and maintain awareness of the surroundings.
  • Document observations and incidents, preparing detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and location personnel to maintain a secure and orderly environment within the logistics and distribution setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
