Senior Director, People and Legal

Position Overview

As REsurety’s Senior Director, People and Legal, you will be responsible for the People Ops and Legal functions of our growing organization. Reporting directly to REsurety’s COO, you will engage internal and external stakeholders across a variety of business needs, including commercial negotiations, employee lifecycle and people practices, IP and data protection, and other strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design an excellent employee experience from onboarding to growth, fostering a vibrant, inclusive culture.
• Drive strategic initiatives, optimize processes, and build a world-class team.
• Steer us through legal landscapes, ensuring compliance and protecting our organization.
• Negotiate and review contracts with clients, vendors, and other partners, including SaaS and data contracts, power purchase agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Build a robust risk management framework, safeguarding our future and turning potential threats into opportunities.
• Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and communicate such changes to the appropriate stakeholders.
