    Pillar & Peacock is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Design Intern to join our team! This role is perfect for a recent graduate or a student currently enrolled in an Interior Design program who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of design. We’re seeking someone creative, organized, and passionate about interiors—someone ready to roll up their sleeves, contribute fresh ideas, and support our team with both administrative and design-related tasks

    • What You’ll Do
    • Assist in creating client presentations
    • Support design installations and project execution
    • Run errands related to project needs
    • Assist with basic drawings
    • Communicate with vendors to gather product details, pricing, and samples
    • Help keep the office organized and client-ready at all times
    • Provide overall administrative assistance to our Principals and Design Team.
    • What You Bring
    • Proficiency in Adobe Suite
    • Experience with AutoCAD (a plus!)
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite & Mac systems
    • Basic graphic design skills
    • Experience with Zoom, Slack, and Dropbox is helpful but not required
    • Strong verbal & written communication skills

    • Part-time (20 hours per week)
    • Based in Richmond, VA
    • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel between offices and project sites (Richmond & Irvington)
    • Opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team across our Virginia and Alabama offices
    • $15 per hour for hours worked
