Pivot Sweets is looking for a 3rd shift Candy Inspector! Third shift runs from 8 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 30 a.m. on a 4 / 10 week.

The Candy Inspector is responsible for the quality of candy produced. Candy Inspector job duties include :

  • Inspect all candy coming up conveyor
  • Ensure candy has the correct film
  • Check for foreign objects in candy and scrap candy that does
  • Check for proper wrapper seal and scrap candy that is not properly sealed
  • Check for correct lollipop sticks
  • Check shape and size of candy
  • Check wrapped caramel and taffy products to ensure the twist as tights and there are no rips
  • Sweep floors
  • Follow proper retention strategy
  • Mop floors with approved cleaner mixed per bottle instructions
  • Complete cleaning logs
  • Weigh scrap and record on scrap log
  • Tidy production area and remove and debris at the end of shift
  • Other related duties as assigned
